In line with the ongoing work program, the Customer Services Branch is pleased to advise that the next quarterly release of changes to the ABS website has arrived.
On 26 September 2008, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released changes to the design of the ABS website.
The content area of the ABS website home page has been updated, applying current accessibility guidelines, web trends in design and content to make it more relevant to our customers and key clients. This includes:
- a new 'Spotlight on' section, drawing attention to high profile and current issues,
- Australian Population Clock,
- ongoing display of the 5 most recent 'Media Releases' now above the fold,
- links to a Product related Media Release are now available from the Products headline text.
